School A Child – Bwari

The Kelsons Relief and Care Foundation (KRCF) recently visited Bwari Science School, Abuja, to officially hand over educational materials to beneficiaries of its School a Child (SAC) Project, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to inclusive and equitable access to education. The visit marked another significant milestone in KRCF’s ongoing efforts to remove financial and material barriers that prevent vulnerable children from fully participating in formal education.

As part of this intervention, KRCF had earlier completed the full payment of tuition and all other required school fees for the SAC beneficiaries, ensuring uninterrupted access to learning for the academic session. Building on this financial support, the Foundation provided essential learning resources designed to enhance academic performance and student confidence. This comprehensive approach reflects KRCF’s belief that sustainable educational support must address both cost-related and material needs.

During the handover exercise at the school premises, beneficiaries received exercise books, test books, and school uniforms, all carefully selected to meet their daily academic requirements. By equipping the students with these basic but critical tools, KRCF is helping to create a conducive learning environment where beneficiaries can focus on their studies, participate actively in class, and pursue academic excellence without disadvantage.

This intervention directly advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive, equitable, and quality learning opportunities for underserved children. It also contributes to SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by easing the financial burden on families and ensuring that socio-economic status does not limit access to education. Through the SAC Project, KRCF continues to align its programmes with global development priorities while addressing local educational needs.

In conclusion, the educational materials handover at Bwari Science School underscores KRCF’s long-term commitment to empowering children through education. By covering tuition costs and providing essential learning resources, the Foundation is laying a strong foundation for academic success and personal development. KRCF remains dedicated to expanding the reach of the School a Child Project and strengthening partnerships that enable every child to learn, grow, and thrive.
