School A Child Project – LEA Paipe

It was a moment of profound joy and renewed hope at LEA Primary School, Paipe Community, Abuja, as the Kelsons Relief and Care Foundation (KRCF) carried out a meaningful intervention under its School a Child Project. The initiative, designed to reduce barriers to basic education for vulnerable children, brought together pupils, teachers, and community members in a shared celebration of opportunity, dignity, and commitment to learning. The atmosphere reflected the collective belief that education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and securing a better future for every child.

Through this project, KRCF extended comprehensive educational support to 16 selected beneficiaries, ensuring that financial limitations would not hinder their access to quality basic education. Beyond the distribution of learning materials, the Foundation formally announced the full payment of all school charges for the beneficiaries, alongside the purchase of complete school uniforms. This holistic approach demonstrates KRCF’s commitment not just to enrollment, but to sustained school attendance, confidence, and academic participation.

The distribution exercise, which took place at the school premises, included essential learning materials such as exercise books, test books, and uniforms, all carefully provided to meet the immediate academic needs of the pupils. By equipping the children with these resources, KRCF is actively creating an enabling learning environment—one where students can focus on their studies without the anxiety of lacking basic tools required for classroom engagement.

This intervention strongly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which advocates for inclusive and equitable quality education for all. It also supports SDG 1 (No Poverty) by easing the financial burden on low-income families and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by ensuring that vulnerable children are not left behind due to socio-economic constraints. The presence of Mr. Stephen Emerole, Business Development Manager, and Mr. James Anduwa of KRCF Accounts at the event further underscored the Foundation’s accountability, transparency, and hands-on involvement in programme implementation.

In conclusion, the School a Child Project at Paipe Community stands as a powerful example of how targeted educational support can transform lives and communities. By investing in children today, KRCF is not only supporting academic growth but also nurturing future leaders equipped to contribute meaningfully to society. The Foundation remains committed to advancing education-focused interventions that promote equity, empower communities, and contribute sustainably to national and global development goals.
